My wife Susan and I have lived in the HCSD since 1998. As a parent, quality schools brought us here and will keep us here – that is, as long as I can afford it. My son Willie graduated from Darby in 2004, my son Brandon attends Ridgewood and my daughter Haley attends the special needs preschool at Alton Darby. My experiences as an attorney, a police officer and other public service positions as well as being a parent of a special needs child give me the necessary qualifications to offer my service to our community as a school board member. In these tough economic times, we deserve a school board with strong leadership, negotiation skills and dedication to improve programs, continue our school’s level of excellence and eliminate waste.
